On World Teachers Day (Friday 27 October), statewide parent organisation Parents Victoria is launching a new campaign with the slogan “Value education – Value those who provide it”.
Parents Victoria CEO Gail McHardy said, “Today’s teachers work long hours in a demanding and complex role. High expectations are placed on them by students, parents and the education system. They deserve our support. We urge all parents and carers to express their support on World Teachers Day, and all the year round by working collaboratively and respectfully with teachers on the common goal – to provide our students with the best possible education.”
