Horsham West Primary School has a thriving Parents Club, which runs regular events and activities including Pizza Days and a school beanie fundraiser. They’re also great at recognising the efforts of their volunteers. Here’s an example: during Volunteer Week in 2026, they published a big ‘thank-you’ post on their Facebook page, with lots of volunteer photos and a heartfelt message of celebration and thanks for everything the volunteers do. Finding time to do volunteer activities is not always easy for parents, and knowing that your efforts are recognised makes a big difference. Well done to Horsham West Parents Club for making sure all their volunteers know that their efforts are appreciated!
