Father’s Day week of celebrations is one of the busiest weeks for the Parents Association and what a fabulous week we had celebrating our Fathers and Father figures.

It all began with the helping hands of mothers and grandmothers to fill our children’s shopping bags at Wednesdays gift stall. The children love a good shop and the smiling and excited faces are all we need.  🎁

Friday morning began with the comforting sound of sizzling eggs and bacon rolls on the grill. The morning air carried the delicious aroma of breakfast, drawing families and friends together to celebrate the fathers and father figures who make our community so special.

The spirit of togetherness was felt by everyone gathered. Laughter, conversation, and friendly smiles filled the morning, creating a wonderful atmosphere of connection and appreciation.

Adding to the occasion, the choir’s, beautiful singing, provided the perfect soundtrack to the sunrise. Their uplifting voices echoed across the gathering, bringing a sense of warmth, reflection, and gratitude to the celebration.

It was a truly memorable morning, where good food, great company, and community spirit came together to honour our dads. We are grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, cooked, sang, and helped make this Father’s Day breakfast such a special event. 🌅🥓🍳🎶❤️

Moments like these remind us of the strength, kindness, and friendship that make our community a wonderful place to belong.

The Kingswood Primary School Parent Association is a group of volunteer parents who work alongside  the school to create opportunities for families to connect. In an era when much communication  happens through email, Facebook groups, Whatsapp chats and online meetings, the Association’s real purpose is surprisingly timeless: bringing people together face to face.
