The government has sympathised with parents, while the Australian Education Union says the report comments are an example of the excessive workloads teachers are fighting against.
Parents spoken to by the Herald Sun were angry about the absence of feedback, but also did not want to be identified because they supported the campaign for better pay and conditions.
