Public Education Day is celebrated on 25 May in government school communities across Australia.
“This day provides an opportunity to highlight the outstanding achievements of public education and its place as the foundation of Australian society,” announced Sharron Healy, President of the Australian Council of State School Organisations (ACSSO).
“We hope your school community takes the opportunity to celebrate the work of the school staff, the achievements of the students and the ongoing partnerships with families and community”.
