Parents Victoria made a submission to the federal Parliamentary Inquiry into the Better and Fairer Schools (Funding and Reform) Bill, debated in Parliament in 2024 and passed on 26 November.
National parent body ACSSO (Australian Council of State School Organisations) also made a submission. As Parents Victoria is a member of ACSSO, we include that submission here too.
Parents Victoria respectfully acknowledges the traditional owners, the Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri) peoples of the Kulin Nation, on whose country we work. We pay our respect to their elders past, present and future.
Their ancestral ties to country have never been extinguished, and sovereignty never ceded.
